Spray laminating

Spray laminating – a technology consisting in applying resin and glass fibre under pressure by means of a proper device (a type of a painting gun) onto a mould pre-coated with gelcoat. Preparatory works and materials may be the same as with other laminating types (manual, vacuum, etc.). The difference is in the manner of applying reinforcement and resin.

Spray laminating is used in the production of complex products, with irregular shapes and of large sizes. We apply this method when a product must be made fast, e.g. a prototype, and the repeatability of laminate thickness is not so important.

Spray laminating is used mostly in the sanitary sector (shower tubs, bathtubs), in the production of swimming pools, etc. It is also suitable for vertical elements.
